VA Aquatic Center

In partnership with MEI Architects, the Design Partnership helped design Polytrauma Aquatic Center is part of the rehabilitation center at Palo Alto campus to provide care to veterans and service members who have experienced severe injuries. The facility included therapy and lap pools, a gymnasium, and a mezzanine level running track, in addition to the improved locker and changing facilities for patient and staff. The building is planned around a courtyard, suffusing the interior spaces with daylight.

This project met the criteria for LEED Silver certification.
