Berkeley Courthouse

The Berkeley Courthouse project was a major renovation and seismic upgrade to the original 1959 two-story cast-in-place concrete structure to bring it to current standards of code compliance. The Design Partnership helped Alameda County meet their goals of seismic safety, accessibility compliance, improved security, consolidating and modernizing of offices and courtrooms. We also updated the infrastructure for occupant comfort and safety, along with the implementation of sustainable building strategies.
